Abstract: Watersheds contain vitally important resources which must be managed in a coordinated fashion to achieve sustainability. This book presents 20 contributions to the analysis of watersheds in the Pacific Northwest of the United States in three broad subject areas: - Global and national perspectives - Elements of integrated watershed management - Innovative approaches for mitigation and restoration of watersheds.
